About This Spot

Walking into Konoba Toma feels like stepping into a cherished neighborhood gathering spot where the pulse of Trogir’s coastal life quietly hums beneath a welcoming roof. The air carries a subtle mix of sea breeze and the inviting warmth of a wood-fired grill, promising moments that unfold at a gentle, unhurried pace. It’s the kind of place where locals and travelers alike settle comfortably, drawn by both the familiar and the honest simplicity of a meal well made.

The atmosphere is relaxed but lively—tables often full, conversations blending with the soft clink of glasses and the light shuffle of waitstaff moving through the room. There’s a friendly rhythm here, familiar yet never rushed, encouraging guests to linger over the day’s catch or a thoughtfully prepared plate that brings the Mediterranean’s bounty to the table. Dishes arrive with the kind of care that speaks of tradition, yielding flavors where the sea’s freshness meets subtle, homey touches.

Whether savoring the delicate char of freshly grilled calamari or sharing a platter brimming with a region’s finest seafood, the experience at Konoba Toma is quietly rooted in connection—to ingredients, to season, and to the people at the table. Beyond seafood, a handful of comforting choices hint at Croatia’s broader culinary heritage, offering something for every appetite without straying from the authentic coastal vibe.

What lingers long after the meal is the sense of a place where food and friendship weave together naturally. It’s not about spectacle, but rather the honest pleasure of good company and well-crafted dishes that invite you to return—not just for the flavors, but for the familiar rhythm of a truly local konoba experience.

The food was okay for the price it was given. The service was kind and helpful. We didn’t have a reservation and when we came the place was full around 20:00 we needed to wait 20 minutes and we had e table

Great steak here for all 4 of us when we visited in July 2025 - so good we chose this restaurant to come back to for our final meal of the holiday too - both visits very good - pic looks basic but the food all round was great!

Visited by the recommendation which was actually an answer to: is there any konoba that is still a bit genuine and not an instagram place. Tip of the day! Great food, lower prices.

Amazing food and service. We ordered the seafood platter for 2, cevapi fries with a peppercorn sauce and it did not disappoint.

We had diner here and the quality was really good! We live in Split for three months a year so we have had quite a lot of restaurants and this one really belongs in the top 5. Great location, friendly staff, friendly prices and really nice food! We had grilled chicken, black risotto (ink), risotto sea fruits and pasta sea fruits.

We just had lunch here — by far the best meal we’ve had in Dalmatia so far. I was initially a bit sceptical, as the menu appeared somewhat old-fashioned, but the experience exceeded all expectations. The place is spotless, the service was outstanding, and the portions were generous. Great value for money as well. We’d happily come back!

I got the seafood risotto and mussel soup and it was delicious! Great price for seafood and I loved every bite! Would tell anyone to go here
